Requirements

• To apply, candidates must hold a conditional firm or unconditional firm offer for either:
  • MSc Robotics and Automation (1 year full-time)
  • MSc Engineering Project Management (1 year full-time)
  • MSc Digital Design and Manufacturing (1 year full-time)
• If an applicant holds a conditional firm offer at the time they make their scholarship application, the award can only be granted once the offer conditions have been met.
• Applicant’s mode of attendance must be full-time.?
• Applicants must have successfully met any conditions set for entry onto the programme.
• Candidates must be a national of, or permanently domiciled, in:
  • Bangladesh
  • Cambodia
  • Egypt
  • Ghana
  • India
  • Indonesia
  • Kenya
  • Morocco
  • Myanmar
  • Nepal
  • Nigeria
  • Pakistan
  • Sri Lanka
  • Vietnam
  • Zimbabwe
• Applicants must be self-funding to receive this award, not funded by a research council, government, private enterprise, charity, or any similar organisation.
• For tuition fee purposes, applicants must be classified as overseas students.
• In addition to a strong personal statement submitted as part of the scholarship application process, applicants must also demonstrate strong academic potential.
• Receipt of the scholarship is subject to successfully receiving a visa to study at the University in September 2026.

Application Deadline

How To Apply

• The deadline for applications is 31 May 2026.
• There are two stages to the application process: an application and an interview.
• Applicants selected to receive a firm scholarship offer must confirm via email that they accept the award within seven calendar days.
• Applicants may be placed on a reserve list.
• Applicants selected for the reserve list, and who ultimately receive an offer, must confirm that they accept the award within seven calendar days.
• A scholarship offer must be accepted by the given deadline. Where an offer of a scholarship is not accepted by the given deadline, it is automatically revoked unless otherwise agreed with the University.
• Applicants nominated for the scholarship, or placed on the reserve list, may be asked to submit their full academic transcripts, and other supporting documents, before the scholarship offer is confirmed.
• International qualifications will be compared with the University’s internal guidelines.
• Scholarships are awarded by the Scholarship Panel; their decision is final and cannot be appealed.
