The British Hydrological Society is keen to support potential MSc students wishing to pursue development of their academic expertise in hydrology. The Society, together with the JBA Trust and the Environment Agency, will provide a small number of studentships approx £1500 towards the costs of Masters degree (MSc/MRes only) tuition costs at a UK Higher Education Institution.
Successful applicants will receive £1,500.
To be eligible for the MSc Studentship Award 2025/26, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Course Requirement: You must be applying for or already accepted onto a UK-based MSc programme starting in autumn 2025 that is relevant to hydrology, water resources, or catchment management.
Institution Type: The MSc course must be offered by a UK Higher Education Institution.
Purpose of Funding: The studentship is intended to support tuition costs only, not living expenses or other costs.
