Buckinghamshire New University Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship 2025

Buckinghamshire New University is pleased to offer the Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship 2025, providing financial support to self-funded international students. New undergraduate students may be eligible for £1,500 in their first year, while postgraduate students could receive £3,000, and those on the International MBA or MSc Cyber Security may qualify for £5,000 in their first year.

Benefits

  • For new self-funded international students paying overseas fees:
    • £1,500 off the first year of undergraduate study.
    • £3,000 off the first year of most postgraduate studies.
    • £5,000 off the first year for the International MBA or MSc Cyber Security programmes.
  • For continuing self-funded international students paying overseas fees: You may qualify for a scholarship of up to £5,000 across your degree:
    • £1,500 upon enrolment (Level 4 - Year 1).
    • £1,500 upon successful progression to Level 5 (Year 2).
    • £2,000 upon successful progression to Level 6 (Year 3).

Requirements

For New Students:

  • Be a self-funded International Student paying overseas fees for undergraduate or postgraduate study.
  • Hold an offer from Buckinghamshire New University for a full-time taught degree programme starting in January 2025, April 2025, or September 2025.
  • The programme of study must be at least one year in duration.
  • The tuition fee charged must be at least £15,000.

For Continuing Students:

  • Be a self-funded International Student paying overseas fees and currently enrolled at BNU.
  • The continuation scholarship is subject to satisfactory attendance and successful progression on the course from the previous level of study.
  • This is available for new students who started their courses from September 2023.

General Condition:

  • You must meet the University’s academic entry requirements and abide by the University’s rules and regulations.
  • This scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with another scholarship or bursary offered by Buckinghamshire New University.
  • MSc Nursing courses are excluded from this scholarship.
