GREAT Nigeria Scholarship at Edinburgh Napier University 2026

Edinburgh Napier has partnered with the British Council to offer a scholarship for a Masters student from Nigeria. 

This scholarship scheme is part of the GREAT Scholarships campaign, which has been launched by the British Council together with 36 UK universities to support more students across Asia, Europe & Middle East to access excellent UK higher education opportunities.

Requirements

To be eligible for this award, you must be:

• domiciled in Nigeria at the time of application
• self-funding your course
• meet the entry criteria for your chosen Masters course in September 2026

You are not eligible if:

• you are applying for a course lasting longer than 12 months
• you are applying for a research course (including MRes and PhD)
• you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship

Selection Process

• All applications will be reviewed after the application deadline on the 1 May 2026. Please note, you will not receive a response regarding your application until after this date.
• The University aims to respond to all applicants on or before the 5 June 2026 to confirm if they have been successful. If you have not had a response after this date, please get in touch.
