Baillie Gifford has been a supporter of Heriot-Watt's Brightest Watts outreach programme over past years, and continue to provide funding opportunities for undergraduate students from widening participation backgrounds attending Heriot-Watt University. This bursary equates to £1,000 per year of study.
Heriot-Watt University is a public university based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was established in 1821 as the world's first mechanics' institute (Royal Charter granted in 1966). It has campuses in the Scottish Borders, Orkney, Dubai, and Putrajaya in Malaysia. Applications for this bursary from new undergraduate students joining Heriot-Watt in September 2024 are now open. Please complete the application form and submit as soon as you can. To apply you must hold an offer to study at Heriot-Watt in September 2024. The deadline for applications is Sunday 5 May 2024 at 17:00.
