The MyWorld Scholarship supports home (UK) fee-paying students who are from underrepresented groups in Higher Education to access taught postgraduate study linked to the creative technologies industry. This Scholarship includes courses at the University of Bristol, Bath Spa University, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and the University of Bath.
Successful applicants will need to be enrolled and engage in a postgraduate taught programme studying either part-time or full-time. The programme of study must be linked to the creative technologies industry and be offered in the Southwest at either the University of Bristol, Bath Spa University, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) or the University of Bath.
The scholarship will only apply for 2025/26, irrespective of the duration of the course. Successful awardees already undertaking a two-year or three-year part-time postgraduate programme are welcome to re-apply for the scholarship in the second/third year of their study, but they will be assessed in the same way as everyone else applying in the 2025/26 academic year.
Awards of up to £5,000 (pro-rata for the amount of credit they are studying) will be paid against the student’s tuition fees for a postgraduate taught degree programme as a fee reduction/waiver.
You must be eligible for Home (UK) tuition fees.
You must be from a group underrepresented in Higher Education (as defined in the Terms and Conditions).
You must hold an offer to study a postgraduate course (or part of one, e.g. micro-credentials) linked to the creative technologies industry at UWE Bristol during the 2025/2026 academic year.
You must intend to gain employment in the creative technologies industry after completing your studies.
You must meet the terms and conditions of your academic offer and fulfill any other requirements set by UWE Bristol.
Before you can apply for the Scholarship, you must already be holding an offer of study starting in the academic year 2025/26.
Application for the MyWorld Scholarships is via completion of the following MyWorld Scholarship application form 2025/26 only – any other types of application will not be accepted.
All applications must have been completed and submitted by 09:00 on Thursday 21 August 2025.
