Requirements
- Be assessed as international for fee purposes
- Hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year
- Already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
Applicants domiciled in the following countries/regions are not eligible to apply for VCGS awards as the University offers specific schemes for these countries/regions:
- Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria
- Canada, USA
- China, Hong Kong, Taiwan,
- Japan, South Korea
- Colombia, Peru, Mexico
- Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Turkey
- Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
- Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE and Vietnam
- and any member state of the European Union.
Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.
