Requirements

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must: 

• be domiciled in China; 
• be assessed as international for fee purposes; 
• hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2026/27 academic year; 
• must have met or exceed the conditions of their academic offer. 

Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability; evidence of outstanding achievements and leadership potential; and quality of scholarship application.
