Requirements

Scholarship applications are accepted from applicants who have applied for a course taught on campus at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh on an Undergraduate or taught Postgraduate degree programme. Applicants do not have to have been made an offer or accepted their place at the time of application. Applicants must be self-funding (i.e. not funded by a sponsor), and on a programme with an international tuition fee of more than £12,500 per year.

Interview Dates and Process

After you submit your application, the statement will be assessed by a panel, and you will be notified of a decision after the closing date and after the scholarship panel has met.

To apply for the QMU International Scholarship, you need to follow these steps:

    • Do NOT send any additional documentation (like CVs, references, or other statements). They will not be considered.
    • Your separate university application form will not be used in the scholarship decision-making process. The assessment is solely based on your scholarship application form and supporting statement.
  4. Meet the application deadline:
    • For students starting in January, the application deadline is 31 October before the start of the degree.
