The RGU SPORT Scholarship supports the development and promotion of sporting excellence among students and recent graduates of Robert Gordon University. The scholarship combines financial and professional resources to help athletes excel in their sport while maintaining academic progress.

Requirements

Applicants must be:

• A current or prospective RGU student (or a graduate within the past 12 months)

• Competing at, or near, national-level in their sport

• Enrolled in at least a part-time course

Selection Process

Applicants are selected based on:

• Sporting achievement and potential

• Ability to raise RGU’s sporting profile

• Academic standing and commitment to balancing sport and study

• Interview/meeting with RGU SPORT staff to assess fit and outline expectations

Deadlines:

• Online application due by 1 September at 08:00
• Sport Scholar Award meeting by 19 September
• Outcome communicated to all applicants by 30 September

Application Documents

• Evidence of sporting level/achievement

• Proof of admission or enrolment

• Performance and academic development plan (discussed at award meeting)
