The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Founded in 1796 as the Andersonian Institute, it is Glasgow's second-oldest university. The university receiving its royal charter in 1964 as the UK's first technological university. It takes its name from the historic Kingdom of Strathclyde.
Fee Status and scholarship awards will be £5000 to £7000 dependent on subject area and course fee.
Candidates must be self-funded (ie. not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc) and already hold an offer of a place on one of our January 2025 MSc programmes and also be deemed Scotland/rUK with regards to Course Fee Status. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from early August 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration of awards will be 4th December 2024.

Please note that students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
All candidates who hold a programme offer will be automatically considered for an award, therefore no separate scholarship application is required.
The scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their Masters programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and those who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.
