Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must have attained the conditions below by Friday 29th May 2026:

• Have an offer of admissions from the university to study a four-year full-time undergraduate course from the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Autumn 2026;

• Be female;

• Demonstrate exceptional academic merit and/or potential.

Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

1. You must submit a UCAS application form for your course of study in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and have an offer of admission by the deadline of 11:59pm (UK local time), Friday 29th May 2026.
2. The University will use your UCAS admission as basis to automatically award the scholarship
