The UCL200 Laws LLM Academic Excellence Scholarships are designed to support individuals with outstanding academic achievements to study UCL’s full-time LLM. These scholarships provide a £10,000 fee reduction and are not means-tested.

Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must:
- submit a complete application to study on our full-time LLM programme for 2026-27 entry by no later than Wednesday 17 December 2025 (including reference and all supporting documents).
- show prior outstanding academic achievements (usually a high first-class degree or equivalent), demonstrating exceptional potential to excel on UCL’s LLM (information from the application to the LLM will be used to make this assessment).
Selection Process
- Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria stated above;
- Applications received from candidates will be assessed by UCL Laws, who will determine whether to award a scholarship(s) based on the scholarship application, the LLM application, references and your written work;
- The scholarship will not be paid towards tuition fees until the candidate has enrolled at UCL.

- Please carefully read the information below for further details before applying. To apply for the scholarship, please fill in our application form.
- Please note there are two deadlines to apply for this scholarship and you must meet both.
- You must submit an application to study on our full-time LLM programme for 2026-27 entry by no later than Wednesday 17 December 2025 (including reference and all supporting documents). Please note that you will not be able to complete the scholarship application form if you have not already applied for the LLM by this date.
