University of Aberdeen 2024 The Hamilton Scholarship for Medicine

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, as determined by application to the School and entrance interview, and individuals who have been offered a place by the University of Aberdeen will be eligible for the scholarship.

The scholarship is valued at £4,500 per annum for the 5 year duration of the MBChB degree and contributes to the maintenance costs incurred by the student. Should the recipient take a further year of study to complete an intercalated degree at the University of Aberdeen, the scholarship will be extended for the 6 year period.

Requirements

• Applicants from Hong Kong are eligible to apply for scholarships.
• Candidates must have applied to the University of Aberdeen for a place starting in September 2024.
• Students must receive and firmly accept an offer, either conditional or unconditional, of a place at the University.
• The University of Aberdeen Scholarships can only be held by students of the University - they cannot be transferred to other institutions.
