A non-repayable cash award of £1,000 for students who have previously lived in care, a foyer, are estranged from their biological parents (usually for a period of 12 months or more), young adult carers or young refugees. Please note students who choose to live in University-owned accommodation will receive an additional award of £500 paid directly to their rent account.

Please note: Students will need to provide evidence to show they have lived in care or have lived in a foyer during the year before commencing study at UEL. Estranged students will need to provide evidence to show that they are currently estranged from their biological or adoptive parent/s.
