University of Essex 2025/26 Undergraduate EU Scholarship

This scholarship scheme is for EU undergraduate students studying as new students in academic year 2024-2025 or 2025-2026, who are classified as international students for fees purposes. The awards offered are a discount of £5,000 for each year of full-time undergraduate study automatically deducted from your annual tuition fees invoice.

Benefits

The rewards consist of an automatic £5,000 deduction from your yearly tuition fees invoice for each year that you study full-time as an undergraduate.

Requirements

• Only international students who are self-funded are eligible for these awards.
• Students have to be regular residents of an EU nation (a definition of regular residence may be seen below).
• In October 2025–2026, students must register for the University of Essex's first year (Year 1) of a full-time undergraduate degree.
• The prize is non-combative with any other scholarship offered by the University of Essex.3
• This scholarship is good for three academic years. Year 3 of the four-year Placement Year or Year Abroad degrees (i.e., the year in industry for Placement Year degrees, or the year of student exchange for Year Abroad degrees) will not be available.
• Those that are accepted should be available for promotional events.
