University of Glasgow BCC Planning Scholarship 2025

Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) have worked together to fund one full fee scholarship for a Home Student commencing a Master degree in City Planning or City Planning in Real Estate in September 2025.

Together, the BCC and the RTPI wish to make a difference – providing opportunities for individuals who may not have been able to afford to consider studying for a career in planning and, at the same time, boosting planning services.

Requirements

In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must:

- Hold an offer of study at the full-time MSc City Planning & Real Estate Development or MSc City Planning programme starting in September 2025/2026

- Have Home/ RUK fee status

- Meet at least 1 of the social mobility criteria:

• Live in an SIMD decile 1-4 (MD20/40) Scottish postcode area
• Have care experience
• Estranged from family and living without family support
• Seeking asylum in the UK
• Have refugee status
• Are a carer (provide unpaid care)

Interview Dates and Process

This scholarship will close on 22nd July and all decisions will be sent out by 28th July.
