About University of Hull

The University of Hull was founded in 1927 – originally as University College Hull. The foundation stone was laid the following year by the Duke of York (later King George VI, of The King's Speech fame) and we opened for business with 39 students and 14 ‘one-man’ departments. Aim and Benefits of University of Hull Undergraduate Scholarship

Hull York Medical School Bursary provides an award of £1,000 per year.

Requirements for University of Hull Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• The applicant must be a UK national.
• The applicant must hold the UK Home fee status.
• The applicant's household income must not be more than GBP 35,000.
• EU citizens with settled or pre-settled UK status, and Irish nationals living in the UK or Ireland, are eligible for UK home rate.
• The applicant must be enrolled in the University of Hull's MBBS Medicine program or the MBBS Medicine program with a Gateway Year at Hull York Medical School.
