The University of Roehampton offers music scholarships to enable undergraduate and postgraduate students meet some of the costs of developing their talents through lessons, courses, or the purchase of relevant equipment (instruments/strings/sheet music etc.). In return, music scholars enhance the cultural life of the University through performances and enrich their colleges by being available for events chosen by College Heads.

If you are successfully awarded a Roehampton Music Scholarship, you will receive:
- Up to £1,200 per year cash scholarships for every year of study with us on the degree you enrol on
- Support and guidance from our Director of Music
- Opportunities to perform and collaborate with other musicians
Requirements
- You must apply for and accept an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Roehampton (undergraduates should accept as their first choice).
- You need to demonstrate musical aptitude through a 5-8 minute performance (live or video) in any style.
- You must show a commitment to actively participate in the musical life of the university and your college.
- You should be able to demonstrate successful academic progression.
- The scholarship is open to both UK and international students.
- It's available for students on any undergraduate or postgraduate program.
- You can generally hold this scholarship with other awards, unless specified otherwise by the other scholarship's criteria.

- Complete the application form located at the end of the application page.
- Applicants should prepare between 5-8 minutes of music to perform live at an audition or to be submitted as a video. This can be in any style or genre.
- If you are offered a place, accept the offer (if you are an undergraduate, you should accept as your first choice).
