They're offering a scholarship worth up to £20,000 for the duration of your course to overseas fee-paying students joining the University from the English Schools Foundation organisation in September 2027.

Benefits

This is a competitive award applied as a tuition fee discount of £10,000 in the first year of study and £2,500 in each subsequent year subject to meeting progression criteria.

Requirements

• You must commence your studies of an undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield in September 2027. All undergraduate degree courses are included except for Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200).
• You must choose the University of Sheffield as your firm or insurance choice before 4.00pm (UK time) on Wednesday 2 June 2027.
• You must be currently studying an English Schools Foundation programme at the point of application.

Selection Process

This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful. A panel of senior members of staff will select the strongest applications and will be looking for the following:

• Applicant has given examples of achievements which represent excellence and initiative in educational, voluntary, or extra-curricular areas.
• Applicant has shown how these achievements relate to the course they have applied for at the University of Sheffield and connected that to their future ambitions.
• Applicant has a strong academic profile.

Application Deadline

How To Apply

To access the application form you will need to use your MUSE for applicants log in details (these will be sent to you shortly after you receive your course offer).

The deadline to apply is 1pm (UK time) on Friday 2 April 2027.

Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application before the end of May 2027, and will need to accept the scholarship before Wednesday 2 June 2027.
