University of Stirling Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2024

The Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is awarded to all undergraduate students coming to the University of Stirling from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland with a minimum of AAB performance at A-level or equivalent.

The scholarship provides a £1,000 cash award per year (for Years 1–3), and can be combined with our Honours Year Scholarship, which covers the full cost of tuition fees in the Honours year of study.

Students starting in September 2024 or January 2025 who receive this scholarship are also eligible for the Stirling Welcome Scholarship, which is a £1,000 cash award in Year 1 allocated to all students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Students will also be guaranteed a place in University-managed accommodation during their first year.

• Recipients of this scholarship who begin in September 2024 or January 2025 are also eligible for the Stirling Welcome Scholarship, which offers all first-year students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland a £1,000 cash prize.

Requirements

• For the purpose of tuition fees, the applicant must be classified as a student from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland.
• The student's A-level or comparable grade should be at least AAB.
• Only full-time Stirling campus students are eligible for this grant.
• The applicant needs to enroll in your course at the university and take your spot.
• This scholarship is only available to students studying at the Stirling campus.
