Requirements
To be eligible for the Northumbria International Scholarship, you must:
- Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
- Be domiciled in Nigeria
- Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
- Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Postgraduate Taught course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2026 or January 2027 (**see exclusions below)
- Meet all individual course requirements
Exempted courses are:
- Any Advanced Practice or Study Abroad Masters course
- Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) MSc
- Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Adult) MSc
- Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Child) MSc
- Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Mental Health) MSc
- Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities) MSc
- Midwifery Studies MSc
- Social Work MA
- Bar, Bar LLM, LLM Professional Legal Practice (SQE1)
