University of Kent Masters Scholarship


Aim and Benefits of University of Kent Masters Scholarship

For students who obtain/have obtained a First Class honours classification in a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kent:

  1. Home – £2,500
  2. EU* – £3,250
  3. Overseas* – £4,500

For students who obtain/have obtained an Upper Second Class (2.1) honours classification in a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kent:

  1. Home – £1,500
  2. EU* – £2,000
  3. Overseas* – £3,000

University of Kent Masters Scholarship Courses


Requirements for University of Kent Masters Scholarship Qualification

  • Applicant must be completing/have completed an undergraduate bachelor’s degree at the University of Kent.
  • Should have applied to study one of the following taught Master’s courses in SSPSSR: MA Criminology, MA Sociology, MA Methods of Social Research, MA International Social Policy (one year MA only), MA Philanthropic Studies for entry in September 2023.
  • Candidates must have been made an offer to study one of the courses detailed above by the scholarship application deadline.
  • Students should submit a scholarship application by the scholarship application deadline (please note that we are unable to consider applicants for the award without an application).
