Biomedical Science Excellence Scholarship at University of Derby 2025

The Biomedical Science Excellence Scholarship aims to support students in financial need studying for their MSc in Biomedical Science, with a preference for those who are planning to focus on research relating to cancer treatments. This scholarship is funded by The School of Biomedical and Forensic Sciences and a group of philanthropists, acting collectively, dedicated to the memory of loved ones who have lost their lives to cancer.

Benefits

Two awards of £1,000 are available, and will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction in the second semester. Each recipient will also be allocated up to £500 to use to attend a conference.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold an offer to study Biomedical Science MSc at the University of Derby
• The scholarship is open to applications from home and international students
