The Birkbeck Global Future Scholarship is a tuition fee discount initiative by Birkbeck, University of London, designed to expand access to postgraduate education for international students. It is offered to self-funded students from selected EU countries, as well as Australia, Brazil, and Canada, who are enrolling in full-time master’s programs. This scholarship reflects Birkbeck’s commitment to fostering global talent and supporting students from diverse regions in pursuing advanced academic study in the UK.
The scholarship will be applied as a discount to the tuition fee for the first year of your full-time master's course, to bring it in line with the Home tuition fee amount.
You must meet all of the following conditions.
Only one scholarship award can be made per student and the scholarship cannot normally be held in conjunction with any other scholarship.
If at any point during your application journey, or during the course of your studies at Birkbeck, you gain settled or pre-settled status, you will no longer be eligible for a scholarship.
Applicants ordinarily resident in one of the named countries are eligible and do not need to apply separately for the scholarship; it will be automatically applied by our admissions team at the time of enrolment, provided you have applied for any course of your choice
