The University of Bradford is pleased to offer the Bradford-Renduchintala Scholarships, established to support academically outstanding and professionally driven individuals enrolling in the MSc in Satellite Systems Engineering for the 2025/26 academic year. Valued at £10,000 each, these scholarships are available to a limited number of suitably qualified full-time students and are aimed at promoting excellence in the field of satellite systems. The initiative also encourages the participation of underrepresented groups, particularly female students, in the engineering sector. Applications are open to both home and international students, with funds directed either towards tuition or partially disbursed to the student, depending on fee status.
For home students, fees will be covered with any leftover funds being paid directly to the student.
For international students, the £10,000 will go directly towards the cost of tuition.
In addition to having either an unconditional or conditional offer for a place on the University's MSc in Satellite Systems Engineering course, starting in September 2025, applicants will need to have at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject area. Candidates who do not fulfil this requirement but have extensive and relevant industrial experience (3+years) will be considered on an individual basis.
Prioritising criteria in case of oversubscription
Female students based on the rationale that they are underrepresented in the engineering sector.
