British Council GREAT Scholarships (India) 2023

Do you have an undergraduate degree and wish to continue your studies in the UK? A GREAT scholarship could be for you! 

For the 2023-24 academic year there are 25 postgraduate scholarships available from UK universities, across a variety of subjects for students from India. Each scholarship is worth a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fees for a one-year postgraduate course.

Each scholarship is jointly funded by the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council with participating UK higher education institutions. Click here  for more information.

About British Council

The British Council is a British organisation specialising in international educational and cultural opportunities. It is registered as a charity both in England and Wales and Scotland. Aim and Benefits of British Council Masters Scholarship

The successful applicants of the British Council GREAT Scholarships (India) will receive a 100% tuition fee waiver.

Requirements for British Council Masters Scholarship Qualification

• Applicants can pursue undergraduate and postgraduate programs in one of the participating institutions.
• British Council GREAT Scholarships (India) is applicable only in the 40 participating universities across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
• Students applying for British Council GREAT Scholarships (India) can avail of the scholarships for 29 undergraduate and 169 postgraduate courses offered by the corresponding universities.
• The eligibility criteria and scholarship amount might vary for each university.
• Each university has specific programs/courses that are applicable to the scholarship and students are suggested to go through the courses and the admission criteria.
