University of London alumnus Caroline Yang has generously donated funds to create a scholarship designed to help support women from South East Asia who are currently underrepresented in technology fields and STEM subjects.

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Be a new student
- Have an offer to study on the MSc Data Science programme for the April 2026 intake via the distance learning route (this must be the full MSc and the PG Dip and Cert are not eligible).
- Be able to demonstrate outstanding academic merit, evidenced by past achievements
- Be female and a resident of one of the following countries: Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.

- When you have received an offer letter, complete the online scholarship application form
- Applicants must complete all sections of the application form.
