Requirements

1. To be eligible for the Caru Aber International Award, you must submit your application to study a degree directly to the University, without using the services of an education agent. If you need support or have questions, please contact the international recruitment team [email protected];
2. You must be a classed as an international fee-payer to be eligible for the Caru Aber International Award;
3. You must have previously completed a period of study at Aberystwyth University in one of the following ways:
   • Exchange Programme
   • Study Year Abroad
   • Summer School
4. The Caru Aber International Award can be combined with the International Accommodation Award, but it cannot be combined with any other Awards;
5. In the case of University partnerships where there is a tuition fee discount already in place, the Caru Aber International Award cannot be combined with the tuition fee discount, but it can be chosen instead of the tuition fee discount if it is of greater value;
6. If you are in receipt of full funding from external sponsorship bodies (eg government, charity or private organisation), you will not be eligible for the Caru Aber International Award;
7. If you are in receipt of an educational loan, you are eligible for the Caru Aber International Award;
8. The University reserves the right to vary all or any Award awards, discounts and regulations at its sole discretion.

1. Submit your degree application directly: You must first submit your application for your chosen degree directly to Aberystwyth University, without using the services of an Education Agent. If you need support making your application, please get in touch with the international recruitment team [email protected];
2. Accept your offer: Once you have received a conditional or unconditional offer of a place you must accept the offer by returning your ‘Offer Reply Form’, or by selecting Aberystwyth as your Firm choice through UCAS;
3. Submit your Caru Aber application: Once you have accepted your offer, you can apply for the Caru Aber International Award by completing this Application Form by September 1st.
