City University London is offering a number of scholarships worth £3,000 which are offered to outstanding students, who are applying to study a postgraduate course at our Tooting Campus, starting September 2025.

Benefits

The scholarship funds are paid as a partial or full (depending on your course) reduction in your tuition fee. For example, if your Master’s fee is £15,000 and the scholarship amount is £3,000 - then your tuition fee will be reduced to £12,000.

Requirements

To be eligible for a scholarship you must:

• Have made an application for one of the postgraduate Master’s course listed above, either full-time or part-time study, by the deadlines stated below
• Not already be qualified at a Master’s level or above (e.g. PhD)
• Be self-funding your course fees or in receipt of a tuition fee loan (courses funded by the NHS or students receiving employer or sponsor funding are not eligible)
• Have, or be predicted a 2:1 or above or international equivalent

The Scholarship Committees will consider and score each application based on your:

• Degree classification
• Personal statement
• References
• Interview (where applicable)

Application Deadline

How To Apply

There is no separate application process to apply. If you are a Home or International applicant applying for a taught postgraduate Master’s course at our Tooting campus which has a scholarship, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship, provided you submit your course application by the deadline below.

• Overseas fee payers - 2 March 2025 (applications now closed)
• Home fee payers - 1 June 2025
