The Guild of St Bride Bursary is an award offered to a postgraduate student studying for the MA Newspaper Journalism at City St George’s, University of London.

Requirements

The bursary is open to applicants of all faith backgrounds (and none).

Every award is made with consideration given to candidates:

• journalistic potential
• their academic merit
• financial need
• and then the overall quality of each application.

You must have accepted the offer a place on the MA Newspaper Journalism before applying for the bursary.

Interview Dates and Process

The closing date for applications is 30 June 2025 at 5pm

Interviews will take place in person in London or online on Thursday 3 July 2025.

The application process is administered by City St George’s and candidates are invited to apply after they have accepted a place on the MA Newspaper Journalism
