The Corinne Burton Art Therapy Student Scholarship is offered by Goldsmiths, University of London, thanks to the generosity of the Corinne Burton Memorial Trust. This scholarship supports students pursuing the MA in Art Psychotherapy who are committed to using art therapy to support cancer patients.
Up to 60% of tuition fees (Home rate) covered for each year of the MA program
£5,500 per year (for two years) after graduation, as a part-time salary while working as an art therapist with cancer patients
Recognition as a Corinne Burton Art Therapy Student during study and Corinne Burton Art Therapist post-graduation
Applicants are evaluated based on:
Motivation for applying
Personal and professional qualities relevant to working with cancer patients
Understanding of and commitment to art therapy in this field
Final selection is made by a panel of senior academic staff. The decision is final and not subject to appeal.
