The scholarship will be awarded to overseas fee status undergraduate students who exceed the academic conditions of our standard UCAS offer. Candidates who attain A level grades of A*AA or above (or the equivalent qualification in your country) will receive the Excellence Scholarship.

Successful Engineering International Excellence Scholarship applicants will receive an award of up to GBP 3,000 towards tuition fees.
Requirements
- The candidates applying for Engineering International Excellence Scholarships should be International applicants.
- The candidates should have an offer of a place in the School of Engineering in the departments of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, Bioengineering, MEng Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
- The applicants should begin their undergraduate studies in September 2023 at the University.
- The candidates should be self-funding and classed as overseas for fee purposes.
- Full-time students and part-time students are eligible for the scholarship.
- The students studying online are not eligible.
- The Engineering International Excellence Scholarships will not be awarded if partial funding is applicable from an external body.
Interview Dates and Process
- The candidates are not required to submit a separate application for the scholarship.
- The scholarship will be given unconditionally in the first year of study.
- The applicants should achieve 60% or above to continue receiving the scholarship.
