The Excellence Scholarship is designed to reward high-achieving students in pursuing a Master's degree starting in either September or January on any Loughborough and London campuses.

Benefits

For those starting in January 2026:

• 20% off the applicable tuition fee

For those starting in September 2026:

• £3,000 (UK students) and £6,000 (international students) off tuition fees which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account.

Requirements

This scholarship is open to:

• Self-funding students who obtain a first class degree or international equivalent, and are not in receipt of any other University award other than the Alumni Bursary

Eligible programmes includes:

• All postgraduate taught programmes starting in either September or January on our Loughborough and London campuses.
  • Includes: all full-time, part-time and distance learning MA, MSc, PG Diploma and PG Certificate qualifications except those programmes within the Creative Arts, Design, Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences departments, and MBA programmes. MArch Architecture with a UK fee status will also be ineligible for this scholarship.

• Apply for a master degree at Loughborough University
• You will automatically be considered for a scholarship on the basis of your application and final degree result.  No separate scholarship application is required.
