GCU Moffat Scholarship Travel and Tourism 2025

The Moffat Charitable Trust has been supporting the Moffat Centre for Travel and Tourism for over 20 years, providing over £1m of Scholarships for GCU students. Outstanding applicants wishing to attend GCU or are attending GCU to study Travel, Tourism or Events programmes can apply for a scholarship to support them in their studies.

The scholarships are awarded according to academic ability; motivation to undertake a career in the tourism industry, and economic need. The number of scholarships awarded will depend on the quality of applicants.

Benefits

• Awards of up to £3,700 which will be paid over two instalments over the academic year for Undergraduate students

• Awards of up to £2,600 which will be paid over three instalments over the academic year for Postgraduate students

Requirements

To be considered for this scholarship you must EITHER:

*Have a conditional or unconditional offer for a GCU Travel, Tourism or Events related programme.

OR

*Be a current Travel, Tourism or Events student at GCU.

Applications will be considered from students of all nationalities, with some preference for Scottish students.

• BA (Hons) International Tourism and Events Management
• MSc International Tourism and Events Management

The scholarship is also open to PhD students .
