This fully funded PhD studentship, co-sponsored by the Academy of Medical Sciences and Glasgow Caledonian University, offers an exciting opportunity to explore the risk factors and prediction models for opioid use disorder (OUD) in Scotland. The project focuses on individuals prescribed opioids for non-cancer chronic pain and aims to develop a clinical risk prediction tool using electronic health records and data science methods.
