Glasgow 850 International Engineering Scholarships at University of Strathclyde (January 2026)

To celebrate the 850th anniversary of the city of Glasgow, The University of Strathclyde are delighted to offer scholarships to all eligible postgraduate taught, self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying students, joining an on-campus course in the Faculty of Engineering in January 2026.

The value of the scholarship award is £5,000 and will be deducted from your tuition fees. 

Requirements

• The value of the Engineering: Glasgow 850 International Masters Scholarships, January 2026 award is £5,000 and will be deducted from your fees. 
• The scholarships are available for eligible self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course within the University of Strathclyde’s campus in Glasgow starting January 2026 only. The scholarships cannot be deferred or transferred to any other entry points. 
• The scholarships will be awarded automatically and no application is necessary. Please note that the scholarship details will be added to your student record once payment of deposit has been received, and the funds will be automatically deducted from your overall fees. 
• Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible for these scholarships.
• In order to be considered for a scholarship an applicant must hold an offer to study on a full-time postgraduate taught course in January 2026.
• Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
• Students studying a two-year MSc course will receive a £5,000 scholarship for each year of study.  
• Students who do not meet any of the required criteria will automatically not be considered.
• The Faculty of Engineering's decision on the awarding of scholarships is final.
