University of York is offering scholarships to international undergraduate students to help them excel. The scholarships are awarded to undergraduate international students to support them in achieving their goals at the University of York.

Requirements

Open to students from China, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Türkiye and USA.

Students from Hong Kong or Macao are welcome to explore one of our many other funding opportunities for international undergraduate students.

To be eligible for a Global Impact Undergraduate Scholarship, you must

• have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by 30 June 2026
• be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be completed by 30 June 2026) 
• intend to study a full-time undergraduate course.

You will not be eligible if

• you hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored.

Students on the following pathways are not eligible for these scholarships

• Hull York Medical School
• International Pathway College
• Distance and online learning courses
• Part-time courses
• Partnership and exchange students (including visiting students)
• Kaplan International College London

How To Apply

• Apply for an undergraduate degree at University of York.
• All eligible undergraduate students holding an offer at York will receive this scholarship.
• You will not need to formally apply for the scholarship.
