GREAT scholarships (Indonesia) 2026 at University of Southampton

This scholarship gives you £10,000 off your tuition fees. International students in Indonesia applying for any 1 year in person postgraduate master's course can apply for this scholarship. It is offered in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign.

Requirements

To get this scholarship you must:?

• have an offer to study one of the eligible postgraduate courses
• have an Indonesian passport

• be a permanent resident of Indonesia

• have met the University's English language requirements by the scholarship deadline

• Meet your programme offer conditions by the 30 June 

• be willing to act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by promoting the value of studying at a UK University and be a scholarship advocate

• be willing to demonstrate future contribution to capacity-building and socio-economic advancement through the benefits achieved after graduation

The University determines residency as where you have been living for a 3-year period or longer before the start of the course.?

This does not include where you are living for study purposes, if it is somewhere different from your place of permanent residency.?

To apply for this scholarship: 

1. apply to study for an eligible postgraduate degree at the University of Southampton 

2. complete the scholarship expression of interest form by 30 April 2026, 5pm (UK time)
