The Kentfield Scholarship is a prestigious award offered by Imperial College London for undergraduate students enrolling full-time in the Faculty of Engineering. For the academic year 2025/2026, this scholarship provides a cash bursary of £15,000 per annum to support living and maintenance costs. It is available to home fee status students who have received an offer to study a three- or four-year undergraduate engineering course and qualify under the College’s contextual admissions route. The scholarship aims to assist prospective students by alleviating financial burdens, enabling them to focus fully on their studies at Imperial.
Each successful scholar will receive a cash bursary of £15,000 per academic year to cover maintenance/ living costs. Scholarship amount will be reduced if the awardee is in receipt of the Imperial Bursary to cap the total funding to average of upper cost of living band.
The award is for a maximum of 4 years, excluding repeat periods of study.

The successful candidate will be notified by email no later than Thursday, 31st July 2025. If you have not heard from Imperial College by this date, please assume you have been unsuccessful in your application.
Please note that the successful scholars will be expected to meet informally with the donors on occasions and will be required to submit a short statement of progress each year that will be shared with the donors.
This award is for students starting in the academic year 2025-26 and cannot be deferred. All scholarships are awarded subject to students accepting award Terms and Conditions.

The Department that you have applied to within the Faculty of Engineering will assess your academic merit from your predicted A-Level results and your UCAS application form. Applicants will be ranked by Departments and the final selection from the shortlist will be made by the Faculty of Engineering.
