This fund is for EU students without a maintenance loan and international students who have experienced unexpected short-term costs.
The Fund is available to provide discretionary financial help for undergraduate, postgraduate and Research, overseas and EU students, not in receipt of a maintenance loan, who have experienced unexpected financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances. The IHF is intended as a safety net for students in financial difficulty, not their main source of support.

Requirements
- All holds must be removed, students must be properly registered, and their tuition pay account must be current. First-year students will not be eligible to apply until the second semester of their studies.
- The candidate must be an EU or international student paying fees who is not receiving a maintenance loan.
- The candidate must be a University of Greenwich student in good standing.
- Applications from new entrants (year 0 or 1) won't be accepted until semester two.
- The candidate must be enrolled in a postgraduate course or be pursuing a BA, BEd, BSc, LLB, BEng, MEng, or MMath degree.
- The candidate must be enrolled in courses at one of our partner colleges, such as Greenwich, Avery Hill, or Medway Campus, where your tuition is paid to us directly.
- The applicant must be able to provide proof that they have less than £500 in all of their bank accounts, both domestically and in the UK.
- The applicant has to have made all of the required fee payments.
