ITP Aero Funded PhD in Material Behaviour of Thin Foils for Aerospace Applications at University of Nottingham 2025

The University of Nottingham invites applications for a fully funded PhD studentship in collaboration with ITP Aero UK. This research will explore the mechanical behaviour of thin Titanium and Nickel alloy foils used in aerospace forming processes, aiming to improve high-temperature forming methods and contribute to more efficient, lightweight aerostructures.

Requirements

• UK students only (due to funding restrictions)

• First-class or upper second-class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
