The University of Nottingham invites applications for a fully funded PhD studentship in collaboration with ITP Aero UK. This research will explore the mechanical behaviour of thin Titanium and Nickel alloy foils used in aerospace forming processes, aiming to improve high-temperature forming methods and contribute to more efficient, lightweight aerostructures.
A tax-free stipend of £20,480 per annum for four years to cover living expenses.

First-class or upper second-class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
