The Harilela Scholarship have been established by Aron Harilela, a generous donor and friend of King’s College London.
The Harilela Scholarship aims to support Hong Kong residents planning to study for a three year undergraduate programme in the King's Business School. The Scholarship will be awarded based on financial circumstances, a personal statement and academic excellence.
King's College London was founded by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington (then Prime Minister) in 1829 as a university college in the tradition of the Church of England. It now welcomes staff and students of all faiths and beliefs. King's professors played a major part in nineteenth-century science and in extending higher education to women and working men through evening classes. The value of each award is GBP 120,000 (GBP 40,000 per year, for three years) to support tuition fees, with any residual funds being made available as a bursary.
