Kingston University graduate Gurman Hundal is offering a scholarship for a student studying either Business Management BSc (Hons) or International Business BSc (Hons).
The scholarship will include four years’ tuition fees for a home student (including a placement/'sandwich' year) and bursary support of £5,000 per year of study. These funds can be used towards living expenses. The successful scholar will also be supported by Kingston University's placement team to help them find a placement.

Requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Have received an offer to study either Business Management BSc (Hons) or International Business BSc (Hons) or a joint-honours degree including one of these courses
- Be classed as 'home' for fees purposes
- Be studying a 4 year ‘sandwich'/placement year course
Priority will be given to applicants who meet the criteria of our care leavers support programme:
- You are under the age of 25 and have spent any amount of time in local authority care (such as foster care, or residential children's homes). View more about Kingston University's support for Care Leavers and Care experienced students.
- You are under the age of 25 and are estranged from your family. This means you have experienced a permanent breakdown in the relationship with your parents, for a significant period of time (usually for a minimum of 12 months). This definition includes students who may have been a foyer resident or living in hostel accommodation, have been disowned, or if both parents are deceased. - You are aged 25 and under and have significant unpaid caring responsibilities for a family member or close friend who has a long-term or terminal illness, disability, mental health condition, is elderly or frail, or who struggles with addiction or substance misuse. However, we also encourage applications from those who meet the following criteria:
- They are the first generation in their family to progress to higher education (i.e. if a brother or sister has been to university, they are still eligible)
- Mature students (aged 21 or over on 1 September before the course begins) who do not currently hold a bachelor's degree
- Have a family household income of less than £25,000 per year
- Identify as being disabled or have a specific learning difference
- They are entering higher education with a BTEC as their main qualification
