Leicester Global Study Centre International UG Merit Scholarship

This scholarship is for international students who have completed a pathway programme at the Leicester Global Study Centre (LGSC) and are beginning a full-time, campus-based, undergraduate degree at the University of Leicester in September 2023.

Benefits

Students enrolled in the Leicester Global Study Center route who match the eligibility requirements below and enroll in any undergraduate program at the University of Leicester (with the exception of medicine) are eligible to apply for the LGSC International Merit-Based Scholarship, which has a value of either £3000 or £5000 year.

For each year of full-time enrollment at the university, this honor is given.

Requirements

• For the purpose of fees, the applicant must be categorized as an international student. 
• The candidate must be enrolling in a full-time, on-campus undergraduate program that will begin in September 2023. 
• The grant will not be awarded during industrial placement terms, exchange programs abroad, retake years, or periods in which you discontinue your studies for whatever reason. 
• Students may only hold one University of Leicester scholarship, given either centrally or by a department, in compliance with the scholarship requirements. You will only be given the scholarship with the larger value if you are awarded several scholarships. 
• The student will still be given consideration for the Leicester Global Study Center International Merit-Based Scholarship even if the student has already been awarded a scholarship from a non-University of Leicester organization.
• The scholarship replaces any earlier funding that the University of Leicester or the Leicester Global Study Center may have offered before September 2022 and is available to students enrolled in an LGSC foundation pathway program at the Leicester Global Study Center as of September 2022.
• Scholarship recipients who are MBChB students are not eligible for this award
