London Metropolitan University is offering the USA Elite Scholarship to support academically strong U.S. citizens starting full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in London. This scholarship recognizes excellence and encourages early commitment to study in the UK, with tuition fee reductions available for each year of study.

Requirements

To be considered for the USA Elite Scholarship, you must: 

• Be a new international fee-paying student starting an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at London Met in the 2025/26 academic year (September 2025, January 2026, May 2026, September 2026, January 2027 and May 2027 entry). 
• Hold US citizenship. 
• Hold an offer for a full-time, full-degree programme delivered at one of our London campuses. 
• Be fully funding through US Financial Aid or pay a deposit of £4,000 or more (see special conditions below) by 20 August 2025 (for September 2025 entry). 

Selection Process

This scholarship is available to all eligible applicants and is awarded based on: 

• Academic excellence 
• Commitment to early payment or confirmed financial sponsorship via US aid 

Special Conditions 

• Students fully funded through US Financial Aid are exempt from paying the deposit and will automatically qualify for the full Elite Scholarship value after uploading their loan award letter by the set deadline. 
• Students not fully funding via US Financial Aid must pay a minimum £4,000 deposit by 20 August 2025 to qualify for the Elite Scholarship in joining in September 2025. Deadlines for other entry periods to be annouced.  
• This scholarship cannot be combined with other awards, except the International Bright Futures Scholarship which forms part of this package.

How To Apply

No separate application is required. If you meet the eligibility criteria, your total tuition fee reduction will be automatically applied to your unconditional offer and CAS.
