Manchester Metropolitan University International Scholarships 2026-2027

This scholarship provides funding to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from outside the UK, who will pay full overseas tuition fees.

• Undergraduate - £2,000 for each year of your degree. 
• Postgraduate - £3,000 in the first year of study. 

Requirements

Undergraduate:

• Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time, taught undergraduate degree programme at Manchester Metropolitan University, and begin their studies in September 2026.
• Part-time programmes are eligible for the award. The scholarship will be awarded on a pro-rata basis in proportion to the tuition fees charged, which means you will receive a proportion of the scholarship in each year of your course. 

The following programmes are eligible: 

• 3-year Bachelor’s degree
• 4-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated study abroad or placement year (Scholarship is not payable for the year spent on study abroad or placement)
• 4-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated foundation year programme
• 4-year integrated Master’s degree
• Students with advanced standing and joining a degree programme at level 5 or 6 are eligible, providing all course and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.
• One-year top-up degree courses are eligible for the Scholarship, as long as all course and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.
• Only courses being taught on the Manchester Campus are eligible.
• Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.
• Scholarships are only available for new undergraduate Manchester Metropolitan University students; current students moving from one course to another are not eligible.
• Applicants must successfully meet any conditions set for entry onto the programme. 

Postgraduate:

• Applicants must hold an offer for a taught master’s course (180 credits) at Manchester Metropolitan University, unless specifically stated. 
• This offer is only available for programmes commencing in September 2026 or in January 2027. 
• The Scholarship offer will only be applied to postgraduate programmes consisting of a minimum of 180 credits, unless specifically stated. 
• Eligible applicants will be awarded a £3,000 Scholarship. 
• Students studying part-time will be eligible for the Scholarship providing they are paying overseas fees. The scholarship will be awarded on a pro-rata basis, in proportion to the tuition fees charged, which means they will receive a proportion of the scholarship in each year of their course. 
• Only courses being taught on the Manchester Campus are eligible.  
• Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes. 
• Applicants must successfully meet all conditions set for entry onto their chosen course of study.
