My World Scholarships 2025 at University of Bristol

The MyWorld Scholarship supports home (UK) fee-paying students who are from underrepresented groups in Higher Education to access taught postgraduate study linked to the creative technologies industry. This Scholarship includes courses at the University of Bristol, Bath Spa University, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and the University of Bath.

Successful applicants will need to be enrolled and engage in a postgraduate taught programme studying either part-time or full-time. The programme of study must be linked to the creative technologies industry and be offered in the Southwest at either the University of Bristol, Bath Spa University, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) or the University of Bath.

Benefits

Awards of up to £5,000 (pro-rata for the amount of credit they are studying) will be paid against the student’s tuition fees for a postgraduate taught degree programme as a fee reduction/waiver.

Requirements

You can apply if you:

• Are eligible for home (UK) tuition fees.
• Are from a group underrepresented in Higher Education (see Terms and Conditions).
• Hold an offer to study a postgraduate course (or for a part thereof e.g. micro credentials) which is linked to the creative technologies industry at University of Bristol during the 2025/2026 academic year. Please note we will consider applicants from any course related to gaining employment within the creative technologies industry, but priority will be given to those on courses most closely aligned to the MyWorld programme aims and objectives. Please see the list of courses which will be prioritised in Terms and Conditions.
• Intend to gain employment in the creative technologies industry following completion of academic study.
• Meet the terms and conditions of your academic offer and meet any other conditions required by the University in which you will be studying.

How To Apply

Before you can apply for the Scholarship, you must already be holding an offer of study starting in the academic year 2025/26.

Application for the MyWorld Scholarships is via completion of the following MyWorld Scholarship application form 2025/26 only – any other types of application will not be accepted.

All applications must have been completed and submitted by 09:00 on Thursday 21 August 2025.
