There are 200 partial Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships available at Newcastle University. They will help international students pursue graduate-level master's degrees or undergraduate degrees

Newcastle University (Officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England. The university can trace its origins to a School of Medicine and Surgery (later the College of Medicine), established in 1834, and to the College of Physical Science (later renamed Armstrong College), founded in 1871. 50% or 100% of tuition fees


Requirements for Newcastle University Masters Scholarship Qualification

50% scholarships

Applicants for the up to 50% scholarships applicants must:

  • be domiciled in one of one of the following countries: India, Kenya, Malaysia, South Africa, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, USA
  • be assessed as international for fee purposes:
  • hold an offer for an eligible full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2024/25 academic year
  • already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent

We will assess eligible candidates according to:

  • evidence of academic ability
  • evidence of commitment to studies
  • quality of application

 

100% scholarships

Applicants for the 100% scholarships applicants must:

  • be domiciled in one the following countries: India, Ukraine, USA
  • be assessed as international for fee purposes
  • hold an offer for an eligible full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2024/25 academic year
  • already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent

We will assess eligible candidates according to:

  • evidence of academic ability
  • evidence of commitment to studies
  • quality of application
