About Newcastle University

Newcastle University (Officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England. The university can trace its origins to a School of Medicine and Surgery (later the College of Medicine), established in 1834, and to the College of Physical Science (later renamed Armstrong College), founded in 1871. 25% of the international fee

Requirements for Newcastle University Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• be domiciled in an EU member state (students domiciled in EEA member states that are not part of the EU, are not eligible). EU students domiciled in the UK will also be considered.
• have been offered a place to study on an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2024/25 academic year.
• have been assessed as international for tuition fee purposes.

Applicants will be considered automatically for awards based on their degree programme application to study at Newcastle University. Some programme exclusions apply.
